OLYMPIACOS FC team visit @ REPLAY STORE @ GOLDEN HALL

Replay, the «Official Supplier of Formalwear» of PAE OLYMPIACOS FC, welcomed the players and team executives at the Replay Store in Golden Hall, where it hosted an event dedicated to the new Fall/Winter Replay Collection.

This gave the opportunity to Mr. Agrafiotis Dimitris, Vice President of OLYMPIACOS FC to express his satisfaction for the new collaboration which started off exceptionally, while he also pointed out his contentment for the new appearance of the team. «I am especially happy that the players, the training team but also the whole administrative and technical staff of Olympiacos FC have a refreshing air in the way they are dressed, under the name of Replay. It’s a modern appearance which perfectly matches the team’s spirit, dynamism and energy».

Mr. Tsouvelekakis Dimitris, Commercial Director of Replay, congratulated the team for this year’s progress at the Greek Championship, for its qualification at the 32 of Europa League, and wished for a successful future. He also pointed out that Replay is proud if this year’s collaboration with Olympiacos, since REPLAY and Olymapiacos share the same values: « REPLAY as also the top Greek football team have loyal and devoted fans. Additionally, they share the same vision for the authenticity and forefront and are characterized passion and tension, which, each time, classifies them between the best».

The players of Olympiacos FC arrived to the airport, wearing the semi – formal appearance and travelled to Kazakstan, to attend the match with Astana, which will be held on Thursday, 3rd of November..

A crossover spirit marks Replay’s path to the future, reaching from archives across ultra dynamic today to trace the landscapes of tomorrow, intersecting both brand heritage and contemporary life to inspire a fresh edgy vision. Celebrating 35 fab years on the fashion scene.

Clear sense of contrast, unpredictability and thinking outside the box call the shots for the Fall/Winter 2016-17 Replay Footwear collection. Iconic styles from brand archives intersect and rethink the latest trends in hot pursuit of some original future very much to invent. Biker moods and boho influences infiltrate sportswear, the art world, Swinging London, pop accents, hi-tech innovations and fine artisanal details. So giving fresh definition to function and form, content and styling, materials and working techniques.

Biker and tread sole boots line up alongside sneaks of all types, desert boots, laceups, heels, slip-ons, Ugg and Chelsea boot styles, while materials too – from leather (treated or non) and suede all the way to canvas, Lycra, microfiber and rubber – go the versatility route. Guys opt for a palette strong on black, dark brown and avion with sky blue, white and orange highlights; women prefer black, multiple shades of brown (from beige to blackish), burgundy and metallic hues. As for particulars, it’s a matter of elastic inserts, track and tread soles, inner socks, zips, chains, studs, patches, buckles, grommets, gaiters, glitter, fringe, lace, gold drip effects, black diamonds, patchwork patterns and animal prints.

The men’s collection makes the most of a biker look, then shifts in the direction of a sport/athleisure dynamic with hints of a cooler new relaxed elegance.  Easy comfy suede comprises another of the season’s themes, setting the tone for new takes on Chelsea and desert boots, laceups and sneakers. In the latter case it teams up with leather to create the smoothest of sport shoes: mid cut, ergonomic heel counter, tech lacing, running sole. Athleisure mode. Suede is the way to go also for the mid cut sneak with royal blue Lycra inner sock and for a desert boot in the smartest of athleisure styles.

On the preppie front a high cut sneaker with rubber toecap and sole tells the story. It’s a classic where copper color side zip and metal clasp closure clearly add to the appeal.

Meanwhile another iconic casual shoe finds new life thanks to a powdery avion blue fabric for both upper and outsole, offset by electric blue laces.

A different type of color contrast marks the mid cut sneaker with soft leather upper, for it features bright red laces and a white rubber sole.

Leather running shoes make a similar statement, playing with textile inserts, heel counter reinforcements, flashy blue laces. To underscore the irresistible mix of colors, materials and styles cutting across the collection.

Women reveal a strong, vibrant character, on the one hand having fun with biker, Pop Art, Swinging London and sport influences, on the other expressing a femininity possibly bolder and richer than ever. Emblem of this come-on-strong type of allure is the wide heel ankle boot in a selection of three materials (leather, patchwork rawhide, fabric) with zip, chain or buckle detailing. All variants are assertive, sexy, particularly the one with metal grommet studded bootleg. An ultrahigh heel returns also to the ornate pump with precious glitter designs, black diamonds or gold drip effects à la Jackson Pollock. Another winner is the chunky tread sole shoe. But the real focus is on the three with artisanal detailing: first, a fresh colorful model with pop patches, metallic studs and zips; secondly, a bolder take with ankle strap, double buckle, gaiter with inserts; and lastly an edgy-chic version with floral lace trim in burgundy red.

Then at the opposite end of the spectrum there’s the most relaxed of models, snow boot style in suede with faux fur lining and thick tread sole. It too presents exclusive hand workmanship, as in pop patch and stud decors, otherwise buckles, gaiter with inserts and strap.

So this season two big classics – the chunky tread sole shoe and the winter snow boot – get an exciting update where expert craftsmanship makes all the difference.

Products in the boot category also include a leather mid biker with side button closure and snakeskin print heel counter. Here a special feature is the ornamental zip traversing the boot from back to ankle.

Swinging London, rather, is the inspiration for the fitted leather Chelsea boot with contrast stretch insert and metallic glint vamp.

Capping the collection is one of the most original fusion ideas. It’s the super shapely high cut sneaker with quilted nylon upper, rubber toecap and distinctive elastic bands.

REPLAY & SONS FALL/WINTER ’16

Replay & Sons’ fall-winter collection 2016-17 is an attractive concoction of heritage, contemporary and forward-looking style. Iconic pieces in denim, leather, plaid and shirt fabric are reimagined and put into new contexts, fusing them with new trends like sportswear, glam, military and boho. The brand’s instinctive flair for technology reinvigorates them. As such, Replay’s biker origins are toned down as it shifts towards a more metropolitan athleisure look with a clear nod to tailoring and cosmopolitan style. All the while, it never takes its eye off the future or its environmental impact. Heritage, research, innovation, and the interplay of styles and media are the hallmarks of this highly contemporary and dynamic collection of nonconformist, sophisticated streetwear.

For the boys, the city biker is depicted in faux leather teamed with other materials, skull, tattoo, car and motorcycle prints, and ripped denim. Garments are constructed for a close fit. Sportswear is interpreted using prints from sports kits in sweatshirt fleece and nylon, and with Eco Down and Thermore insulation technology. The padding used in our quilted jackets is as light as a feather, capable of conserving body temperature, while their minimal bulk allows for full freedom of movement. Military influences can be detected in parkas, bomber jackets, cargo pants and the use of army green, whereas glamourous elements stand out in shirts, unstructured jackets and low-crotch chinos. Finally, boho accents appear in checked wool, suede patches and fluffy jacquard knitwear.

The collection is defined by its alternating mix of sweatshirt fleece, jersey, wool, nylon, garment-dyed stretch satin with crease effect and gabardine with a vintage finish. These materials come together in black, grey marl, royal and inky blue, plum, red, pumpkin and white, with bright green and orange in prints and on motifs. Everything is combined with a mix of motifs, patches, raw-cut edges and appliqués. Prints come in everything from biker designs and cars with skulls, to large tattoo-style animals, and from fine checks to jacquard designs and lettering.

FOCUS: parkas come with lettering printed on the back, or in checked wool with faux leather sleeves. Continuing with outerwear, bomber jackets come in nylon satin and short jackets in cutting-edge Eco Down and Thermore, some with contrast hoods. More glamourous options include unstructured wool blazers with raw-cut edges. Checks make another appearance on our shirts, this time with attractive suede elbow patches. Meanwhile sweatshirts are inspired by the military look, with handy breast pockets and faux leather or muted camouflage inserts.

This mix-up of styles is also typical of our DENIM for him range, where there is a clear meeting of technology and craftsmanship. On the one hand Hyperflex and Hyperfree, with their extreme performance in elasticity and comfort, are at the cutting-edge of denim. On the other hand, our denim is distressed by hand to create creases, whiskers, 3D effects, rips, and to add patches and motifs. Colours range from blues of every tone, resulting from washes that give denim a worn look, to the intense black to black. The most on-trend fits are slim, super slim and low crotch.

For the girls too, the biker look goes hand-in-hand with a mix-up of materials like faux leather, illustrated skull prints and coloured micro studs. The dynamic sportswear trend comes into its own with sweatshirt mini-dresses, basketball-inspired culottes and of course, eco-friendly Duck free and Thermore quilted jackets. Meanwhile the glam look gives a tailored feel with pleated skirts, burnout velvet, wool coats and exquisite sparkling jewel details. Plaid, wool maxi skirts, fringed coats and ponchos, and fluffy knitwear all express the cosmopolitan heart of the boho look. Military details are detectable in parkas, bomber jackets and the use of army green.

Inspiration and materials come together in combinations of faux leather, denim, wool, jersey, nylon, sweatshirt fleece and a new matelassé jersey. The colour palette reveals blacks, blues, grey marl, army green, pink, fuchsia, red and royal blue. On to these colours we place micro studs, rhinestones, sequins, glitter, towelling appliqués, flock, iridescent foil and micro beads. Of course, there are all sorts of prints in comic book style, of illustrated skulls, jewels, lettering, geometric stars and repeated patterns.

FOCUS: in outerwear, parkas come with towelling appliqués or large prints on the back. Additionally, there are coats with shawl collars trimmed with faux leather fringes, oversize coats in pastel tones and wool ponchos which also have fringes. Army green bomber jackets and eco-friendly quilted jackets are great for being active. A matching sweatshirt and box-pleat skirt blend matelassé fabric with faux leather. Then there is a two-layered dress in sweatshirt fleece of different lengths and a check wool dress with fringing and a front zip. Culottes range from faux leather and a lighter version in cotton plissé, to maxi culottes in a wool check. Exquisite sweatshirts come with sequins or shimmer finishes, and knitwear has coated metallic finishes or lurex panels.

Technology and craftsmanship are also key in our DENIM for her range. Hyperflex comes in a girls’ version, alongside our new Hyperskin fabric. This super soft and highly elastic denim makes our leggings supremely comfortable and feminine. Then the craftsmanship that goes into hand darning and stitching our black denim with shiny gold thread really sets it off. The same worn look is also great on blue denim with micro patches, sequin motifs, darning and plaid patches, not forgetting coloured bull power stretch denim.

THERMO+ works with your body to promptly benefit legs thanks to a feeling of warmth up to 20% higher than provided by standard denim. This is due to a 20% higher degree of thermal isolation. Moreover, the elasticity of the weft fibre makes THERMO+ ultra comfortable.

How does it work exactly? At low temperatures the special mix of fibres helps specifically to preserve your natural body temperature, so keeping it even at all times.

As to fabric composition, THERMO+ denim is woven from cotton, Thermocool™ Active Fiber and elastane.

The Replay THERMO+ range consists of 3 women’s jeans styles – a relaxed fit, a boyfit and a straight fit – and a wider variety of men’s jeans styles – slim, regular slim, slim low crotch, plus tapered and comfort fits – all available in 3 different washes: a dark wash tone, a medium wash and a medium/dark tone with a light marble wash, complete with chunky whiskers and creases, faux-vintage brushing, micro abrasions on pocket openings and hems.

Also, there’s a dark blue wash tone jacket for men.

REPLAY FALL WINTER ’16

The FW 2016-17 collection celebrates Replay’s 35th anniversary, ranging from heritage to contemporary to futuristic. Contamination is the watchword: of styles, materials, processes, functions and often even genders. Heritage is revisited with denim, leather, check, fringes and shirts, while leveraging on cutting-edge laser- and denim Thermo+ technology. An eco-friendly ethos inspires Duckfree down coats and Waterzero jeans.

Tailoring is de-structured, basics reveal a careful eye to details, and the passion for hand-made pieces remains as strong as ever. A collection rich in crossovers and surprises, often revealing deeply intense research and design. The result is a harmonic melting pot that embraces the brand’s heritage, its biker roots, contemporary urban style, athleisure and sporty trends, as well as more glam and military notes, and the stellar heights of the galaxy constellation.

For him, a less rugged, more contemporary biker profile, to step out in the city, blended with hints of military and sporty styles. Here, leather, studs, laser-cut denim, checked details and aggressive prints are combined with bomber jackets, camouflage, military greens and technical fabrics. And on the more active side, with parkas, reversible down coats, neoprene, acetate, maxi zips and thermo-taping. Expressed in hues which are powdery rather than full, with a vintage feel. On a more glamorous side, tailoring is reviewed towards a definition of new casual – smarter, urban, more relaxed. Graphics on tees range from skulls, swords and chains with biker appeal to witty quips, from microprint tattoos to gigantic animals, and even the nerdy universe of mathematical formulae, aliens and astronauts. Fits are slightly shorter, to be worn comfortably untucked, while pants are slim and low-crotch.

FOCUS ON: Shirts with resized checks, complete with suede elbow patches. A two-button leather blazer with a steel foil layer inside creating a marked crinkle effect. Another bomber jacket in super-soft drummed matelassé faux leather, worn under a military-style parka. Long-haired alpaca knitwear. A biker jacket with a hand-printed back featuring a brushstroke effect with a tactile texture. A leather-effect stretch denim jacket with bomber collar. A raw-cut woollen parka jacket and an oversized herringbone coat. A leather aviator jacket with fur collar and a camouflage parka.

For her, it’s all about volumes, fabric mixes and luxury processes, marking out the oscillations between glam sport and urban biker, boho and sartorial androgyny, smart athleisure and galaxy projections. According to the tenets of sport luxury, active-wear shapes and designs are matched with glamorous materials and processes. Thus sweatshirts, T-shirts and maxi dresses are combined with lace, matelassé faux leather patches, sequins, maxi zips, fringes, lurex and passementerie. Fabrics are lightweight and semi-transparent, while faux leather is seen in jogging and basketball pants. The heritage biker is synonymous with leather, laser-cut denim and aggressive tees. A more bohemian spirit is seen in faux-sheepskin outerwear, woollen ponchos, long fringes and jacquard alpaca knitwear. Meanwhile the appeal of androgynous tailoring shows in low-crotch chinos, overcoats, dresses and shirts in light fabrics, while not forgetting the heritage check proposed in overcoats, maxi skirts, dresses and blouses: from crêpe to wool. Military influences with a looser, shorter fit go with parkas, bomber jackets and sleeveless jackets.

T-shirts play on pleating and processing: leather effects, lamination, sequins and precious iridescent caviar beads. Vintage rock prints, slogans, galaxy motifs, mathematical formulae, micro polka dots and arrows. The colour palette speaks of blacks, blues, greys, rust, camel, military green, touches of pink, fluo green, red and fuchsia.

FOCUS ON: A contrived leather biker jacket with a draped flounce at the bottom and passementerie on the collar or one with writing hand-painted on the back. Two jumpsuits, one in a seventies style with neutral tones and gold passementerie profiling, the other zipped, in a pure work-wear style. A checked coat with a shawl neck and leather-fringed edges. Also checked is the woollen maxi skirt. The seventies overcoat is again maxi, with its double breast and galaxy lining. There are two leather jackets: one with biker-style ribbing, the other with all-over studs. Another leather jacket, this time in blue, features a faux fur collar. A bomber jacket, in a choice of lasered geometrical inlaid sleeves, a floral imprimé design, or reversible, nylon matt on the outside, lurex on the inside.

Denim goes artisanal and hand-made with the Maestro capsule collection, combining advanced technology, intense shades of blue and black, tears, ties, creasing and crinkles, as well as clean chic.

Blue denim for her is clean and chic. Elegant jeans distinguished by their extremely soft touch and clean look, faithful to the original rinse, proposed in a range of fits from skinny to boy, with minimal accessories and an iridescent button. Black denim instead speaks of localized polished and leather effects, including a biker version. Meanwhile, dermacolor on blue denim with a black weft and skin tones applied to the finished garment. Finally, the Maestro capsule collection. For her, jacquard macro rips, hand-embroidering with crystals, lurex-silk blends, skin-tone faux leather, repairs and hand-embroidered gold dots.

For him, blue denim has a cleaner look, with a focus on over-dyeing, over-coating, localized abrasions and whiskering, combined to create a strong vintage appeal. Also accentuated is the shades of black style with ties, semi-leather effect, rips, breaks and biker panels. Forever dark is a special indigo colour that will not fade, and thus maintains its dark tone. The luxury of Maestro proposes internal patches for men, taped plasters, mending, laser abrasions and sanding, and even washed five-pocket jeans that have been destroyed and re-stitched.

Finally Thermo+, Waterzero and Hyperflex, representing the cutting-edge of denim technology. Thermo+ heralds the future, with a denim that can maintain body temperature and reduce heat dispersion. Thanks to the Thermocool fibre woven into the fabric, it increases the sensation of warmth by 20%. This denim is proposed in three different washes for three models for women and six for men.

The experience with Waterzero and Hyperflex continues. The former, in a men-only version, focuses on the production of water-saving washes, while the latter has been re-issued in a Blue Black Edition with a new indigo cast and final black spraying.

During an exclusive ceremony, held at the official training center of Olympiacos FC, Replay delivered to Olympiacos the Formal Wear for the season 2016-2017. The event was attended by the team players and the coach, as well as, by representatives of Olympiacos club and Replay.

The famous Italian REPLAY brand, worldwide known for top quality denim products and pioneer in smart casual clothing, having already experienced a successful collaboration with the Spanish champions FC Barcelona, dressing the world stars of football like Neymar Jr, Luis Suarez, Lionel Messi is also entitled, starting the current period, the “Official Formal Wear Supplier” of Olympiakos, the top football team and Champions of Greece.

From now on and during the athletic season 2016-17 and 2017 – 18, the players and staff of Olympiacos FC, in their official appearances in Greece and abroad, will wear the new official clothing line signed by Replay, that includes suits, shirts, ties and shoes.

BARCELONA, 30 May 2016 – FC Barcelona and REPLAY announced they are teaming up to launch the “Suit Up to Help Grant Wishes” Auction to benefit global children’s charity, Make-A-Wish®. The auction comprises of one-of-a-kind clothing, gear and accessories worn by some of the world’s favorite athletes and FC Barcelona players, including Leo Messi, Neymar and many more.

 

The auction, which will run from 1-17 June, will help grant wishes for children facing life-threatening medical conditions across the globe. Auction ítems include casual and formal attire specially designed for the players by FC Barcelona’s official partner, REPLAY. Some of these novalty ítems include, suits, jeans, and other denim pieces.
